Farmer Boris and the Eggs is the seventh volume in the hugely popular picture book series by Ted van Lieshout and Philip Hopman, and is also available as a set of large storytelling plates. This version is specially designed to be read aloud to groups of children at day care centers, playgroups and elementary school.

In this cheerful Easter story, the chickens have tried extra hard to lay beautifully colored eggs. Farmer Boris wants to hide them all over the country, but after a near collision with the Easter Bunny, things go wrong and all the eggs are broken. The chickens quickly lay new eggs, only these are no longer colored. How do they fix that? Thanks to the large, atmospheric illustrations, children experience the story with extra intensity.

The set consists of 13 sturdy, separate A3 sheets. The front side shows the illustration and the back side the corresponding text, making reading aloud easy and pleasant. The storyboards fit into a standard storyboard (not included), but are also easy to hold separately. Ideal for interactive reading to a group.
